Nature Center Guide

Our Nature Center is a great space for visitors of all ages to learn about human relationships with wildlife. Nature Center Guides are friendly faces that lead visitors into the Center, answer questions, interpret exhibits, and run our gift shop. This position is perfect for those who enjoy talking with people and have a passion for exploring natural history.

Our Admissions Volunteers are responsible for facilitating the transfer of injured, orphaned, or sick wildlife from concerned community members to our clinic team for treatment. These volunteers help us solve wildlife issues in real time and ensure our patients are set up for the best possible treatment, as well as help educate the community to keep our wildlife and their habitats safe!
ambassador care

Our Animal Ambassadors are hard workers, and our volunteers work even harder to keep them socialized, healthy, and pampered! Daily care involves working in all weather conditions carrying water jugs, cleaning enclosures, and preparing food that they would naturally find in the wild. This is a great opportunity to work closely with and learn about disabled wildlife in sanctuary.
Summer Camp

Our Camp Volunteers are the heart of our summer camp! Using a curriculum designed by our team for connection to nature and maximum fun, these volunteers help make core memories at camp for young people ages 5-12. From craft time to visits from our Animal Ambassadors, this is one of our most engaging roles!
wildlife clinic
Positions Filled
The hands-on nature of our Wildlife Clinic Volunteer role is physically demanding, but also highly rewarding! This role provides essential supportive care including baby feeding, habitat maintenance, cleaning, and food preparation for nearly 200 local species. This is a great opportunity to learn about wildlife rehabilitation.
