About the role:
Do you like spending time with young one in nature? Do you like being creative and helpful? If so, our Nature-Based Play Volunteer role is for you! This role is designed to support our Summer Camp Lead Staffers in managing groups of campers each week. NBP Volunteers may: engaging the group in games and activities; help set-up and clean up campus spaces like our nature center or classroom; play games with campers; help maintain a safe and fun environment.

Ability to lift up to 30lbs & Be On Your Feet for an 8-hr day

Time commitment & Training:
Nature Based Play Volunteers are required to be onsite for one or more 32-hour week(s) (8am-4pm Monday through Thursday) during our day camp season (late June - late August).
We provide training for NBP Volunteers in June (date TBD). This training totals approximately 5 hours and is held at our facility. Details are given during the application process.
Summer camp sessions run Monday through Thursday weekly from July to the end of August. Each volunteer must commit to at least 1 week - totaling 32 hours. Week(s) are pre-assigned during the hiring process and may be non-consecutive if doing multiple weeks.
