POLLINATOR AND FOOD GARDEN VOLUNTEEr

NOT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS AT THIS TIME

About the Role:

This rewarding volunteer position includes care and maintenance of our pollinator and food garden,  welcoming visitors, discussing pollinators and CFW programs with visitors, and maintaining our signage and walking paths. It is a seasonal position, ending October 1st, 2023, with the opportunity to return the following season. Time commitment is a 4 hour shift once per week.

Under the supervision of the Volunteer Coordinator and Education and Outreach Staff, Pollinator and Food Garden Volunteers must be able to be on their feet in the garden for 4 hours (with breaks), lift 30 lbs unassisted, have a friendly, positive attitude, be willing to work hard and get their hands dirty, and be willing to learn.

If you are reaching out on behalf of a garden club, please email volunteer@thecenterforwildlife.org for more information, rather than applying as an individual.
