investing in wildlife: building a sustainable future

we did it. Thanks to you!

Thanks to over 600 individuals, businesses, and private foundations, we were able to build our brand new
$5.8M facility.
This project and fundraising spanned 7 years, and it is only through YOUR support that we now have a state-of-the-art wildlife medical clinic, indoor classroom and auditorium, interactive nature center, intern housing and more. The new facility allows us to better serve wildlife and our community, and meet the increased demand for our services in both conservation medicine and environmental education.
Our work on our new facility is not over yet! The next step is to make our outdoor spaces as beautiful and informative as our indoor spaces. Our Rooted in Nature Campaign will help give our ambassadors a fantastic new home, allow us to build a network of boardwalks, plant beautiful gardens and much more.

  • Return more animals to the wild by safely accommodating growing patient loads

  • Utilize advanced diagnostic techniques through in-kind donations of larger medical equipment

  • Increase our reach and impact for environmental education by hosting programs, workshops, and conferences onsite, year-round, and for larger groups

  • Improve training opportunities for our interns and volunteers

  • Provide more financial sustainability through admission fees, private event or meeting rentals, and onsite programming
