Public Programs

We offer a wide variety of programs and events that are catered to all age groups. Our public programs allow us to partner with educators from around the country as well as local organizations to help teach about a wide variety of topics including wildlife conservation, environmental stewardship and much more. fully fledged: an adult naturalist series

Join Lead with Nature’s Dan Gardoqui and Center for Wildlife staff and wildlife ambassadors for an evening of nature immersion, exploration, and storytelling

(including yours!).

Each month features a different topic and will include wildlife demonstrations, time outdoors, and/or slides and other visuals. First Thursday every month. 6-8pm. Tiered pricing available. 20 people max, ages 13+.

conservation corner

A rotating list of guest speakers from Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife and Center for Wildlife educators team up to talk about conservation efforts going on in our region. Check below for details on our next Conservation Corner program!

become a scientist

This program, catered for young scientists-to-be, is your time to practice some hands-on science! Example soil samples under the microscope, learn about what it takes to practice wildlife rehabilitation medicine and get outside to get your hands dirty.

birds & brews

Come meet some of our flighted ambassador friends, enjoy an outdoor environmental film or nature walk and enjoy a beverage from one of our local brewing partners! You must be 21 or older to attend our Birds and Brew programs.

fit with nature
