FACILITIES VOLUNTEER INFO & APPLICATION
Thank you for your interest in becoming a facilities volunteer at the Center for Wildlife!
Our facilities have grown tremendously over the years. Facilities volunteers ensure safety for all of our patients, visitors, volunteers, and staff by helping to maintain our medical clinic and 45+ specialized outdoor enclosures.
Skill sets we’re looking for include:

Small engine/mechanical repair

Woodworking/carpentry
-
Plumbing
-
Electrical
-
Snow removal/landscaping
-
Creative problem solving
-
Participation in/supervision of manual labor workdays

Ability to work independently
-
Knowledge of unique habitat needs of wildlife species
Time Commitment: We ask that facilities volunteers decide on one of the following options and commit to that standard for three months. As long as communication and expectations are clear, there is room for flexibility.

2-4 hrs weekly

4-6 hrs monthly

Emergencies/special projects (on call or on as-needed basis)
