FACILITIES VOLUNTEER

About the Role:
With the new Center for Wildlife comes a a greater need for volunteers who specialize in the maintenance and safety of the facility itself. Projects may include: landscaping, carpentry, enclosure repair, small engine upkeep, painting, snow removal, safety upgrades, exhibit creation, and any number of other projects as they arise.
Time Commitment:
Variable, depending on focus area
Skills:

Experience with carpentry, mechanical, electrical, landscaping, or general handyperson tasks

Ability to lift 50 pounds

Comfort climbing ladders

Willingness to work solo, or in small groups

Ability to lead or participate in group workdays

Knowledge or interest in learning about the unique habitat needs of various species

Creative problem solving

Comfortable self-managing
